Welcome to Liquid Sun Rayz!



My name is Marilyn Spatola, I am a 35 year veteran Licensed Practal nurse, a Licensed Nail Technician of 22 years, and a Certified Fitness Instructor of 22 years.  I entered the wonderful world of spray tanning five years ago.  As someone who is very fair and does nothing in the sun but burn, the thought of being able to have beautiful color without the dangers of sun exposure was all it took to get me hooked.  Through trial and error and the testing of many solutions, equipment and techniques, spray tanning is now a major part of my business and has become my passion.

As a health professional and a member of the salon industry, I am aware of and concerned with the dangers of UV exposure from the sun and/or tanning beds. 

It is my goal to educate others as to these dangers and offer a safe alternative for tanning. With the diagnosis of skin cancer rising every year in the United States, I feel it is imperative to get the message across that UV exposure can prove to be deadly.  Education on the facts of melanoma (the deadliest form of skin cancer) is crucial in fighting this deadly disease!

    •    Melanoma is the most common cancer in young adults aged 20-30
    •    There are more new cases of melanoma than AIDS/HIV
    •    Among women age 25-30, melanoma is the leading cause of cancer death
    •    Among women age 30-35, melanoma is the second-leading cause of death (after breast cancer)
    •    Accounts for 75% of skin cancer and affects over 105,000 Americans each year

I have committed myself to offering the best service possible in the Cincinnati area.  I continue to educate myself to stay on the cutting edge of what is current in the spray tanning industry.  I offer tanning for every occasion and specialize in competition tanning for fitness, figure, and bodybuilding competitors.  Whatever your needs are, I will meet them!!!
